Hi Edward, I am interested in taking the ITIL foundation exam with intensive preparation in hopefully one month’s time with self preparation only. I haven’t started my studies yet, but I have the following questions I would like to ask you.
1) I have the following book – IT Service Management, A guide for ITIL foundation exam candidates 2nd edition by Ernest Brewster, Richard Griffiths. Will this book be sufficient for my preparation?

Thank you for your contribution to this blog. I referred your blog for PMP examination.
I went through almost every section that you have wrote regarding PMP except the notes and confusing terms. As you rightly mentioned, it is better to create our own notes so I created my own flash cards to go through them in my free time.
I took all the exams mentioned in your Free PMP exam list. That really helped me in the preparation.
I scored 80% or above in most of those free PMP exam and then took real PMP exam on 11th Oct 2017. I scored ‘Above Target’ overall and ‘Above Target’ in all the individual sections in my real PMP exam. The free test helped me tackle the questions of all levels and also helped me in building the stamina for a 4 hour exam. I took a break after 120+ questions ( 1 hour 30 mins after the start), then finished answering all the questions 30 minutes before the end. I tried to review all the questions in last 30 minutes but could review only 67 questions.
All well that ends well. I would really like to thank you for all your help.

For the certificate matter, that depends on whether you purchase an exam plan with printed certificate or just the electronic one. You may log in your Pearson VUE account to see if the electronic certificate is there.
I booked my exam through PeopleSoft and I got the electronic certificate in a short while after passing.

I enquired few providers and they gave the price quote as follows: ($1490AUD for the course and $395AUD for the exam). I feel like this is expensive to pay from my end.
