Quick question regarding PDU and timing

I renewed my PMP certification early and I was disappointed to learn that I cannot claim PDUs for a PMP prep class that I taught in 2016 due to a timing issue.

Do you happen to have a contact at Customer Service who can directly assist me? I taught a PMP preparation class in 2016 and I was told that I cannot claim the associated PDUs due to timing of the submission.

I am thinking a supervisor who is very familiar with CCRS and PDU submissions.

Hi Liz,

Sorry that I don’t have a direct contact at PMI customer service and that I cannot help you out in this matter.

I also renewed early for my PMP re-certification around mid-way through my 3-year cycle. I can still claim PDUs for my PMP afterwards but only PDUs submitted in the 3rd year of my original renewal cycle are allowed to carry forward to the next cycle. Probably that’s not your case.

If PMI does not entertain your PDU claim request for the teaching work you have done, you can earn free PDUs for your next re-certificate cycle through projectmanagement.com:

I almost earn all my PDUs this way. Wish your issue can be solved soon!
