I actually had two questions. I thought I written you before; but I cannot find the email anywhere.
I did pass the PMP Exam! Now, I am trying to determine if I should really pursue this PMI-ACP® Exam or not. I already have the CSM. Looking for some advice if you do not mind. I have seen the upcoming changes about the PMBOK® Guide and PMP Exam. I have been reviewing the “public review” for the PMBOK® Guide. And comments had me wondering if the PMP Exam will eventually replace the PMI-ACP® since it will cover this material. I would like to know your thoughts on this as well.
Was the PMI-ACP® Exam much easier than the PMP Exam?
Lastly, I also thought about creating an iOS app for the iPhone for the PMP Exam. Then, I thought about your site since I have been here many times before. I do not believe you have an App in the store with your material. If I decided to pursue this… would you mind if I used some of your material for the app? I would probably not charge anything since my goal is really to accomplish publishing an App in the App Store.

Firstly there have been speculations that the PMI-ACP® Exam will be merged with the PMP Exam some time in future as Agile has fast becoming a staple in project management knowledge and more and more projects are adopting Agile methodologies. While I would agree this to a certain extent, it is still too early to draw the conclusion. The PMI-ACP® has been updated not too long ago. This means that PMI is still developing the PMI-ACP® Exam with a view to catch up with the latest changes in the Agile field. Also, PMI-ACP® contains knowledge that only accounts for a sub-set of the new PMBOK® Guide edition, there leave too much gaps if Agile practitioners are required to take the PMP Exam. What I would believe is that a Certification for Agile practitioners will still be there, but maybe the title would be updated to more related with the glory of the PMP title. But as you have already be CSM Certified, I do not think it is worthwhile to get PMI-ACP® Certified at this moment.
Yes, the PMI-ACP® Exam is shorter and easier than the PMP Exam. If you have gone through PMP Exam preparation, you will be much more relaxed this time for the PMI-ACP® Certification Exam.
It is a great idea to develop an app for the PMP Exam. Yes, I don’t have one but there are already tonnes on the App Market, both iOS and Android. But sorry that I am not able to authorize you to make use of my materials here as I just share these as my sharing only, but not something authoritative. I am afraid Aspirants would misunderstand this and just rely on my notes and materials for their PMP study which is not enough to guarantee a pass in the first attempt.
