Edward Chung Staff answered 7 years ago The project charter should be signed by someone with the authority to assign project resources and name the project manager, e.g. the Project Sponsor or the Senior Management but not the project managers themselves.
Since both Project Sponsor and Senior Management are presented as options, I guess I would choose the Project Sponsor as they are more closely related to the project.
