Question:

What would happen if I am late for the PMP Exam?

Answer:

Don’t be late for the PMP® Exam. Arrive at the PMP® Exam center at least 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. If you are late, the worst case is that you may be denied entry to the PMP® Exam room. In such case, a ‘no-show’ status is implied, resulting in a fail for the PMP® Exam. You will need to pay for the re-examination fee and re-schedule another timeslot for the exam.

However, some PMP® Exam centers will exercise discretionary power to allow you to sit for the PMP® Exam even though you are late (maybe probably for several minutes). But don’t count on that as this is different for different PMP® Exam centers. It is therefore advisable to mark down the telephone number of your PMP® Exam centre and ask for their policies once you have the feeling that you will be late for the exam.
