PMI postponed the new PMP Exam from 2 Nov 2015 to 11 Jan 2016
BREAKING NEWS! PMI has just announced that owing to the requests of stakeholders (most PMI Authorized Training Partners and exam prep book publishers cannot update their exam prep resources to meet the updated version of the PMP Exam by 2 Nov 2015), the switch to the new PMP Exam syllabus would be postponed to 11 Jan 2016 (previously it was 2 Nov 2015).
This would essentially mean that:
- The current exam (aligned to the current exam content outline) will remain in use until 11 January 2016. Candidates taking the exam between now and 10 January 2016 will be sitting the exam based on the current edition of the PMP Exam content outline. Aspirants preparing for the exam using the NEW exam content outline should take note of this.
- From 11 January 2016 onwards, the new exam will be in effect. Aspirants would need to prepare for the exam based on the new Exam syllabus and new exam prep materials.
If you would like to take the PMP Exam between now and 11 Jan 2016, you will need to prepare for the exam using currently available exam Prep. You can also make use of my study notes, available for free here, which is based on the current edition of the exam.
Wish you PMP success!
