Is it advisable to renew PMP Certification immediately after getting all the required PDUs?

My PMP is valid till 2018. After getting all the 60 required PDUs, I got email from PMI that I can renew. If you observe this renewal time I still have over 850 days to renew since it is not even one year after I passed PMP.

So my question is, why renew now? If I renew it may renew from NOW TO 3 years? SO better I wait till 2018 and renew to push it to 2021?

Sure, the renewal will extend 3 years from your original expire date of your PMP Certification, not from the date of renewal. So after renewal, your PMP Certification will expire in 2021!
What’s more, if you renew now and your PMI membership is still valid, you can enjoy the member’s discounted rate.
