The PDU requirements and reporting system sees an upgrade from Dec 2015. This article will give a detailed overview of the changes to the reporting system and how that would affect PMI Certification holders.

Changes to the PDU Reporting System
PMI has recently redesigned the entire PDU reporting system (aka CCR System in PMI’s terms). Major changes include:
- A more intuitive interface for reporting and checking PDU
- Simplified PDU reporting process
- Improved online dashboards and tracking capabilities for professional development of PMI Certification holders

- All the information can now be viewed comfortably on mobile devices (mobile screen optimized using responsive design)

Appendix: Changes to PDU Requirements
With a view to keeping up with the changing landscape of talent requirements of the project management field, PMI has introduced a change to the PDU requirements of PMI Certifications (including PMP, PMI-ACP®, etc.). All educational PDUs (Category A to C) would be categorized into one of the following:
- Technical Project Management
- Leadership
- Business and Strategic
Educational PDUs reported from 1 December 2015 must be classified as one of the 3 above categories.
