How to get enough PDU?

Upon getting a pass in the PMP exam, the first thought that came to my mind is: I need to earn PDU now! I am afraid I will forget the 3-year cycle and have to apply for PMP from scratches and sit for the dreaded PMP Exam again!

Originally, I planned to search for free PDU opportunities on the internet. However, the materials are often far from complete and I don’t know whether PMI will count the hours I spent on these materials towards PDUs. That’s what I fear most. If I was rejected PDUs in an audit, I will then need to make up many more PDUs in a very short time or I will lose my PMP title.

Is there an automatic and care-free way to earn PDU?

Luckily I found the PDU PodCast  subscription, which will automatically send me webinars related to project management every 30 days for a total of 21.75 PDUs annually. Like PM PrepCast™, you can download the webinars to your iPhone or Andriod and take it wherever you good. If you use iPhone, you can set the new webinars to be automatically synced to your iPhone whenever it is connected to iTunes.

As required by PMI for quality assurance, after watching each episode of webinar, you will need to answer several questions on the PDU PodCast website in order to receive the PDU certificates. You can then proceed to PMI website to submit the PDU gained.

As the producer, OSP International LLC, is a PMI Authorized Training Partner (R.E.P.) , the PDUs earned in this way is counted towards “Category A” PDUs, which have no limit for the amount of PDU to be earned in this way! In fact, if you subscribe for 3 years in a row, you will get around 61.75 PDUs which is more than enough to fulfill the PMI’s PDU requirements for PMP recertification.
